FOCUS: Lizzy Anjorin

Actress Lizzy Anjorin is no doubt one of the most gifted in the Yoruba movie sector. Having successfully proved her mettle as a role interpreter, she has also become a producer to reckon with. Below are seven things you don’t know about the beautiful thespian. 1: Despite speaking Yoruba and Hausa languages fluently, Lizzy who is from Badagry Local Government in Lagos, cannot utter a word in her local (Egun) language. 2: She owns a big shop where she sells clothes imported from Dubai, Morocco and Senegal, but the actress makes fortune by hawking the same clothes in offices around Lagos on a daily basis. 3: Lizzy is a good cook. The actress spends most of her time at her Lekki home in the kitchen. At times, she invites friends to appreciate her cooking skills by cooking for them. 4: Lizzy attended three higher institutions; Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro and the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye. 5: Lizzy’s blockbuster movie, KOFO TINUBU was inspired by Terry’s song ‘APAKO.’ 6: At home, the actress does not discriminate between her 16-year old daughter and housemaids. Most times, she allows her daughter to do the works while maids supervise her. 7: Apparently because Lizzy started her business life as a car smuggler, one of her hubbies is driving, and she remains one of the best drivers around.
